We use a minimum of UVA and UVB rays and combine them with "Happy Lights", which makes tanning with us safer for the skin and with added benefits. Tanning salons use a maximum of UVA and UVB rays to get you in and out quicker. That is the reason why you feel hot and your skin turns red.

Our tanning beds can be used for a variety of other benefits besides the obvious of getting a beautiful golden tan! At Slender Xpress our light therapy program is set up to help:
ACNE:
Application of light for sessions of three consecutive days has been shown to reduce the bacteria in the pores by 99.9%. Over all improvements of 80% can be found in three months. Most studies show that light therapy performs better then Benzoyl peroxide.
NON-SEASONAL DEPPRESSION & SAD:
Clinical studies prove light therapy is an established treatment and has certain advantages over drugs, in that it might take less time to see a benefit due to the fact anti-depressant drugs take several weeks to reach full effectiveness.
FIBROMYALGIA:
Light therapy helps the body relax thus relaxing the nervous system so it can recuperate. This process helps flair ups diminish and relieves them while they are taking place. We have specific lotions to use for this as well. Some lotions can actually trigger a flair up.
SORE MUSCLES AND JOINT STIFFNESS:
With a session of as little as 5 minutes, will significantly reduce soreness in muscles and help diminish pain. This will also increase the range of motion in the joints. If you are a member of slender xpress and add a tanning membership as part of your physical therapy for joint or muscle issues, the way in which you should use the photo therapy will be added to your personal workout card.
